Here is page one of a four-page article entitled "Common-Carrier TrucTrain Brings 'New Era In Railroading.'" It was published originally in the April 1955 issue of "Pennsy" magazine, page 1. Bottom Photo Caption: "First common-carrier TrucTrain from New York rounds the Horseshoe, Chicago-bound." Shown here (R to L) are Pennsylvania Railroad engine #9815 and two more "EF" Class units whose road numbers are not recorded. All were built by GM-EMD and rated at 1,500 horsepower each. #9815 is an EF-15A constructed in May of 1951 and retired in November of 1966 after just 15 years of revenue service.
