Here is the first of two successive photos by John S. Fisher that were taken in Walbridge, Ohio, in October of 1955. Caption On Reverse: "Pennsy 'J' #6494 waiting to take the noon freight to Columbus. East Broadway Yards. October, 1955." Shown here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #6494, a J-1A (2-10-4) "Texas" built in Juniata during May of 1943 and retired in September of 1957 after just 14 years of revenue service.
