This area to the west of the tracks was once the private station stop of Little Rapids. There was never a station building here but there was two small shed sized buildings. One served as a telegraph office for the private owner an the other was a shelter for the track inspection vehicle the people would use (after contacting the New York Central dispatch for permission) to reach the Branderth Station a little over a mile to the north. |
