| Gulf, Mobile & Ohio RS2 1502 was at the Illinois Central Gulf’s former GM&O yard in Bogalusa, Louisiana. The locomotive had been built in December 1948 and was assigned ICG number 1502, but it was retired in 1974 before it was ever repainted. No GM&O RS2 units were repainted as ICG locos.
