Here is a photo that was published originally in the "Altoona Centennial Booklet" dated August of 1949, page 12. Photo Caption: "Tenth Avenue looking east from Thirteenth Street in the early [1880's]." The large structure in the center of the photo is the Logan House. To its immediate left is the Pennsylvania Railroad's Passenger Station; to its immediate right is the wrought-iron 12th Street Footbridge which passes over all seven tracks.
