| On Sunday December 4, 2022 Amtrak 48 "Lake Shore Limited" had a Norfolk Southern leader. A computer failure on AMTK 129 somewhere around Elkhart, IN during the night and not only lost power but also the ability to control AMTK 111. Norfolk Southern provided a rescue locomotive which was doing most of the work with AMTK 111 providing head end power for the train. |
