NS yard job E19 starts back up the hill with four cars received from CSX. CSX signal and bungalows for the switch for the "switching lead" to Main 1 to the right.         
This is the Southern Ry's "Old Main Line" which pulls a stiff grade leaving the James River Valley. Southern built a cut-off around downtown Lynchburg, opening on March 1, 1911.
