| This is a great color slide by Dennis Schmidt of Rock Island Alco RS2m #454 working the Blue Island yard. The loco was built by Alco in October of 1948 but had the indignity of being rebuilt with an EMD 567 prime mover installed in 1957. No more smokin' Alco from this unit! |
