Blue light shining brightly
Zach, here's what your waving signals should look like! I was happy to be able to photograph this one that has its blue light still functioning

Zach Pumphery General COOL! So that's some type of lunar aspect? 2/10/2007 3:03:55 AM
Joe Hill General I managed to save the north signal at Lilly, Ga identical to the one in this shot when it was removed for the new double track project. It is awaiting installation at the CofG depot in Montezuma, Ga and will be fully operational in a few months. 2/10/2007 7:39:43 AM
Carter Buchanan General Zach, the blue signal means there is another track that is between the mainline and the signal. Here, the siding is between the main and the signal. The signal is pure blue, not the whitish blue "lunar" aspect that symbolizes "restricting" on most railroads (there are other variants of lunar in use on NS's former Wabash lines). 2/11/2007 8:54:38 PM
Jon Huemmer General Great Shot - Definitely worth the patience and effort!! 2/19/2007 7:44:28 AM
