John Mallard General Correction, M&HM was not part of LS&I. I used to work for them. They bought the Big Bay branch from the LS&I in 1963 to operate a tourist railroad. It ran to 1968 then shut for 4 years. It restarted in 1972 and ran until the death of its owner in 1982. This car was purchased from the DMIR but never used in tourist service. The car to the left is a former Erie Stillwell. Most of the operational cars went to the Whitewater Valley RR in Indiana, with the remainder going to various museums. 2/12/2013 4:37:36 AM
