You are right....thats the old Ft. Valley interlocking tower in the photo. To the right of this building is the old passenger station. On this side of the tracks and to the left of the road crossing is the old freight depot. Ft Valley was the point on the old Central of Georgia where the lines from Columbus and Albany GA came together and continued to Macon. There was also a branch from Ft Valley to Perry GA.
