james Watt	General	From the look of 87, there are no grips above the windows, so this is 1959 or earlier. This picture could be possible at La Grange IL EMD works (except for baggage wagons) or some Chicago locale. I used to see the CB&Q go by my house and remember those E5s because they were stainless steel while the other CB&Q passenger engines were painted silver.	12/16/2010 2:33:16 AM

Arthur Miller	General	Picture appears to be real. This is an early morning shot. You are looking NorthWest. Probably the late 50's. Texas Chief has been turned and leaves 12:10pm after arriving day before at 2:35pm The Rock, possiblly the Twin Star leaves Dallas at 9:40 am for Houston. FW&D, (Burlington), should be the Texas Zephyr which arrived at 7:45 am. Black striping on Zephyr suggests the early units. Reunion Tower and hotel would come much later.	8/4/2011 12:05:04 PM

If the year is 1965, this photo may have been staged by Dallas Union Terminal to depict its last remaining passenger trains. Duplicate slide purchased years ago. FW&D E5AB diesel numbers an educated guess. Date unknown. Best guess on trains is Texas Zephyr, Twin Star Rocket, and Texas Chief though it seems be a totally posed or fabricated picture. The sky looks fake, no buildings. The AT&SF E8A looks too big, maybe. Who has the original and description?
