AT&SF H16-44 3019, Saint Joseph, Missouri, August 28, 1965, photo by Chuck Zeiler. Built in July 1952 as road number 2819 (1st), it was almost immediately renumbered to 3019 to make room for second 2819, a GP7 built in December 1952. Number 3019 was retired around March 1969 and traded to GE as credit for new power.

AT&SF H16-44 3019 and UP GP9 238, Saint Joseph, Missouri, August 28, 1965, photo by Chuck Zeiler. Santa Fe 3019 was built in July 1952 as road number 2819 (1st), it was almost immediately renumbered to 3019 to make room for second 2819, a GP7 built in December 1952, and was retired around March 1969 and traded to GE as credit for new power. Union Pacific GP9 238 was built in January 1954 (c/n 19124) on EMD Order 5320, was retired in August 1978, sold to Precision National (Mount Vernon, Illinois) in November 1978, sold for scrap to Naporano Iron & Metal (Newark, New Jersey) in April 1979.
