| Horseshoe Curve-1966. Here is a telephoto view that I took at the Pennsylvania Railroad's Horseshoe Curve near Altoona, Pennsylvania, during early May of 1966. Shown here are the Horseshoe Curve Gift Shop and PRR Caboose #980901, an N-6B built at the Altoona Car Shops during August of 1916 ~ 50 years prior! Note that the Caboose is to the right of the Gift Shop. Also note the fledgling leaves on the trees! |
