PRR 8669 (#4 of 4), AS-18AM, 1961
Everyday. Here is an original photo that I took of a Pennsylvania Railroad train in Hollidaysburg, Pennsylvania, on 09 August 1961. Shown here are the N-5C caboose and some of the new hopper cars (produced by the Samuel Rea Shop) being pulled by PRR engines #8669 and #8672 up the New Portage Branch via the Muleshoe Curve to Gallitzin and points West. This photo taken from the PRR caboose on static display as part of Hollidaysburg's 125th Anniversary Celebration. A small portion of Broad Street is visible on the right. ("Red Shift" slide converted to Black & White.)
