| Built by Lima in November of 1929, this 4-6-4 Hudson type steam locomotive looked more massive that it actually weighed out as in realtiy. To combat smoke, the European looking smoke deflectors ("elephant ears") were installed in January of 1946. Sadly, the loco was sold to Luria Brothers for scrap on 8/28/1956. Specs - serial #7401, class L-1b, 73" drivers, 215 psi boiler pressure, 25x26" cylinders, approximate engine weight of 316,500 lb, tractive effort of 42,681 lb.
