PRR 1126, I-1SA, 1956
Title:  PRR 1126, I-1SA, 1956
Description:  Wood. Here is a duplicate 35mm B&W slide of a photo by Don Wood that was taken near Weigh Scales, Pennsylvania, in May of 1956. Shown here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #1126, an I-1SA (2-10-0) "Decapod" built in Juniata as an I-1S during October of 1918, rebuilt as an I-1SA by 1953, and retired in September of 1959. Actually, this is a "Decapod" double-header: #1126 is followed by #4519 ~ built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works in August of 1923 and retired in October of 1959.

PRR 4519, I-1SA, 1930
Title:  PRR 4519, I-1SA, 1930
Description:  Doghouse. Here is an archival photo of PRR I-1SA "Decapod" (2-10-0) locomotive #4519 taken by Otto C. Perry in Cleveland, Ohio, on 28 September 1930. The tender attached to this engine is one of the two shown in this album. This photo is from the "Otto C. Perry Memorial Collection of Railroad Photographs" maintained by the Denver Public Library in Denver, Colorado. http://digital.denverlibrary.org/cdm/ref/collection/p15330coll22/id/64070 Many thanks to Roger Radbill for locating this photo! Mr. Radbill also suggests that "this most likely is the original tender from PRR 4519 1923 Baldwin Locomotive Works I1s c/n 56798 rebuilt to I1sa 4/43 and scrapped or sold 10/59."
