It's pulling a northbound coal train along with two PRR Diesel locomotives: #8626 and #8620. Both are AS-18M's built by the American Locomotive Company and rated at 1,800 horsepower each. #8626 was constructed in February of 1957, but #8620 was built in August of 1956. The slide's caption indicates that these three engines are, in effect, towing PRR I-1SA "Decapod" #4632 (the pusher engine) which has become disabled!
